ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rich Murphy’s credits include four other books: The Apple in the Monkey Tree(Codhill Press), Voyeur 2008 Gival Press Poetry Award (Gival Press), Americana 2013 Winner of Prize Americana (The Poetry Press of Press Americana), and Body Politic (Prolific Press). He has published five chapbooks: Great Grandfather (Pudding House Press), Family Secret (Finishing Line Press), Hunting and Pecking (Ahadada Books), Phoems for Mobile Vices(BlazeVox), and Paideia (Aldrich Press).
Recent prose scholarship on poetics has been published in The International Journal of the Humanities, Reconfigurations: A Journal of Poetry and Poetic, The Journal of Ecocriticism, The New Directions in the Humanities Journal, and New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing. Rich has taught academic and creative writing at several colleges and universities.
