[it won’t explode]

i told my children it won’t explode the world the world the world will go on shock by shock until there is one grid for the living and one grid for the dead there will be an actual heaven and we will finally admit it is life it is life it is life and the pain we consider to be all too human is just human enough for the context of absolute joy



[so very soon]

i told my daughter so very soon you will see your body for the first time since you were born and that reflection will mean something to you please know how beautiful you are please know it was your face i saw recurring when i was in rehab please know you are beautiful enough for me to be the opposite of the person i was born to be
